A Letter to the Old Me

I was given a prompt from a friend; to write a love letter to my past self. It was something that I thought would be difficult and emotional for me. Indeed it was emotional, but it was something that I know I needed to partake in. To address the feelings and thoughts of someone that I try so hard to push to the back of my memory. As if, the younger versions of myself aren’t still near and dear to me. My past mistakes or shortcomings will forever be a part of me.
